As electronic musicians ourselves, we, at Fingerlab, have developed DM1 with the intention of delivering the perfect mix between fun playability and powerful sonic capacities. DM1 offers 5 main sections:
1 - THE STEP SEQUENCER frees your imagination with a smart use of the multi-touch screen. Just turn on and off steps in your sequence with the tip of your fingers to create cool beats, or unexpected rhythms!
2 - THE DRUM PADS simply lets you play and record the beat that tickles your fingers. No need to be a first-class drummer, automatic quantize does the work for you.
3 - THE MIXER for quick and subtle sound mixing of your drum kits. Featuring settings for volume, pitch, sample length, custom drum kit element for each channel, mute and solo mode.
4 - THE FX TRACKPADS a creative duo of FX trackpads to distort, modulate and transform your beats. The effects include: Overdrive, Delay, Reverb, Envelope follower, Phaser, Dub Delay, Formant, Texturizer, Robotizer, Filter, Dalek filter, Compressor and Noise Gate.
5 - THE SONG COMPOSER allows you to quickly make a song with the beat patterns you have created. Just drag and drop the patterns onto the timeline. Fast and easy.

DM1 - The Drum Machine app good for

Inter app is really usefull and the new kits are pretty cool Now Id love to have more midi (transport control with an external controller such as the Keith mcmillen Softstep, loading songs and drumkits with program change) I would also like to see fx automation for patterns And maybe the possibility to change name of the pads (when the cowbell sounds more like a clap for example) I love this app !!

The positions of the faders into the mixer page are resetting when switching back from another page. This doesnt affect the values, but quite disturbing anyway... The "mute" buttons seem to be frozen on the mixer page. Update? (Tested on iPad 2 / iOS 8.1.3)

Im an advanced user of DM1 since first version, but the latest versions has some bugs. The latest are relative to MIDI bad behaviour. But Fingerlab is working and getting better on each new release. I hope that the app became more stable again.

DM1 turned out to be an amazingly stable and fully loaded with features on iOS Devices. But since the latest Update the App crashes right at the startup !!! Please fix that problem soon!!!

running stable on ipad air, but some lacks when changing the window (from steps to pad to mixer etc.) (Stutter FX or gate FX would be great)

Some bad moments

Just updated to the latest version and though sound seems better there is a huge midi bug that makes it unusable. It seems to be a midiloop somewhere so the notes get repeated and you get a nasty glitchy sound. Please correct.

The new update is bugging when loading any song, including demo. Please fix urgently.

The app crashes before load, please, fix it, i need to access my songs!

please correct this application. He is not working for some time. I try to open the App but anything is possible.

The timing when synchronized to external gear or to other apps is somewhat bad. Beside this, the sound is sometimes heavily distorted, if the app runs under iOS 8. IT COULD BE the best drum machine app (by distance) if it would work properly. Fix the issues and Ill give five stars.

Version 5.0.4 crashes on start-up on iPad2 IOS 7.1, please fix this. (I do NOT wat to update to IOS 8 btw, because this will make my iPad2 slower as it already is)
